The frame that gives
a lithophane its light.

A frame with a shelf for the lithophane panel and a cavity for an LED strip behind it — a visible opening at the front and a cable notch at the bottom. Set the opening and the frame width, look at the 3D preview and get an indicative price right away.

Visible opening

The opening is what you actually see from the front. The outer size is the opening plus twice the frame width — you will find it worked out in the summary.

The defaults are matched to the default lithophane panel. Change them only if you know what you are after.

Notch width8,0 mm The notch in the bottom rail for the LED strip cable. Switch it off if you do not need one.
Shelf overlap3,0 mm How far the shelf reaches over the opening to hold the panel. Left alone, it is derived from the frame width.
Cavity clearance1,0 mm The gap between the panel and the back rim where the LED strip runs. Left alone, it is derived from the frame width.

How it goes together

The frame prints upright and needs no supports. The lithophane panel drops into the slot from above and rests on the shelf, leaving the cavity behind it for an LED strip and a notch at the bottom for the cable. The LED strip and the power supply are not included.
